Can there be the complete ending of any sort of [psychological] continuity?
That's the question.
[the continued career of the separate psychological entity... the ME - the WE, the tradition of human attachment, is the consumptive misery of conflict and disorder]
What's going to take time to end continuity?
[point is, you see it must happen, and you see it must happen now]
-
There is no time -
action must be now.
The "ME" makes arrangements for "the future".
In action, the arrangements are all ready made.
No choice.
-
Something is alredy done about sorrow.
IT IS SORROW!
Sorrow is shown.
That's what's done about sorrow.
You can see that reaction to what is shown
- the step away,
the observer -
the "I am going to do something about sorrow,"
is impossible-
is an inward, biologically fueled spiral of consumption
which is playing with imagery.
So... what's left?
[it's not that sorrow is going to be neglected or "accepted" or "validated" - we are just going into the fact of sorrow and seeing that the separate mind is the root - what happens if we see this? What happens if the mind doesn't separate from sorrow because we see the falseness of that process? If there is only sorrow and not "me and my sorrow", what is happening there? That is what we hve to find out.]
You see?
We can't [delineate] "what's there if sorrow is understood."
Do it, and you will find out.
