Reaction...

The possibility of a truthful, universaly creative life demands the immediate understanding of the nature of "reaction". What is reaction? I am speaking of it in the sense of a gesture which is divorced from the situation, and so does not constitute action or order. I'm suggesting that as long as there is the possibilty of reaction, there cannot be action. The beauty which emerges is that this means it doesn't matter what kind of horrible conditioning you've been through. Complete action in relationship (which is life) STILL demands complete understanding RIGHT NOW. If there is a shred of continuity, which is self protection with its correspondent reaction, true action cannot take place.
