the market...

In the street today, there were people enjoying the sun, watching other people, shopping, playing. People of all kinds and sorts. You wondered about sorrow... about corruption... about the anxiety of people, the interpersonal tension, about the striving of people... about what was trying to happen... what's trying to happen?... is there a universal order that we can live?

This order could only be the creation of a mind which understood reaction. You see? The fire... the stillpoint that is the explosion of existence that each brain must understand must be necessarily free of RE-action... which means, free of a secondary entity within the brain... you see? Free of an entity which sees itself as separate, and its GONNA DO SOMETHING (OR NOT) ABOUT EXISTENCE. Just look, there is the explosion and profound order that comprises the SHOWN-NESS of existence (WHAT IS is seen), And then typically, and most unfortunately, there is that nugget of stuckness in most brains which is that sense of "ME, I am separate from existence, and what am I gonna do to protect myself, furthur myself, get a sense of control..." Seen?

So, that "nugget", that centre of "control" is reaction... and anything it does is furthur reaction... This whole phenomenon is the misery, the draining unfortunateness of human life.

Now look... The truth of this, if you but look, is shown. So that whole sense of "what I'm gonna do about it," in that seeing, is void... right? Because as we have seen, that's part of reaction.
